Hypertime

Hypertime is an advanced Model and Simulation platform for tactical speed analytics, multi-threat and multi-object assessment, and comparative “what if” decision support. Hypertime calculates and predicts mission risks and maintains “digital twins” of mission domains utilizing real-time sensor data, physics-based models, and user-supplied mission plans and scenarios. The Model and Simulation component of Hypertime is a novel architecture that leverages recent advances in agent-based distributed computation, stream processing, and time series data management to simulate sequential events at machine speed and review simulation outcomes on an event-by-event level.

Hypertime’s technical implementation utilizes an open, service-based architecture with foundations built with best of breed technologies in distributed computing, message distribution, and high volume storage, and leverages bitemporal database technology to maintain real-time digital twins that can be rolled back to any point in the past. The architecture supports the scalability needed of a global, multi-domain, multi-sensor object tracking platform with modern Model and Simulation capabilities.

Hypertime Capabilities

  • Digital twins, electronic representations of real-world objects, that support a bitemporal data model, allowing digital twins to be updated in real-time, updated post facto, or rewound to any time in the past.
  • Model and Simulation environment that utilizes a scalable, distributed compute architecture to simulate sequential events and predict future events and outcomes at machine speed.
  • Real-time and simulated threat assessment and decision support that performs predictive threat and impact analysis to evaluate threat risk from real-time sensors
  • Strategic scenario simulation to support what-if exercises, resource allocation, mission planning, and threat response.
